Summary: From 23 to 25 June 2026 we were at Intersolar Europe in Munich, part of The smarter E Europe. We showed the LaMetric display portfolio and the Energy Gateway accelerator, and talked with energy device makers about getting connected products to market faster.

Why we went
Intersolar Europe is one of the largest meeting points for the solar, storage and energy-management industry. Our clients build the devices that sit between the inverter, the battery and the people who use the energy, so it is the right place to show what we build and to hear what device makers are working on.
Our display portfolio
We brought the connected displays we design, manufacture and run ourselves:
- LaMetric TIME, the smart display used in homes and offices in 20+ countries.
- LaMetric SKY, the modular light panel that doubles as a smart display.
- LaMetric Solar Glance, digital signage that puts live solar and ESG data next to marketing content.
Each one runs on the same stack we offer clients: embedded Linux, signed over-the-air updates and a cloud that delivers data to a fleet scaling toward 100,000 devices.

Meeting our distributors
Intersolar is also where we meet the distributors who bring our smart displays to customers across Europe. It was good to catch up in person, share what’s coming next and hear what installers and end customers ask for.

The Energy Gateway accelerator
On the stand we also showed the Energy Gateway accelerator: a local, edge-based energy management foundation built on the inverter, meter and battery integrations that already run in our own LaMetric smart energy displays. It works with solar inverters, smart meters and batteries over Modbus and SunSpec, and steers EV chargers, heat pumps and water heating to solar surplus and cheaper tariffs.
We adapt it to the client’s hardware, brand and market. The project starts from a proven foundation instead of building that layer from scratch, so field-ready devices ship sooner.

Why it matters for energy device makers
Inverter, storage and energy-management products are becoming connected devices. They have to be updated safely, integrate with the systems around them and meet the EU Cyber Resilience Act. Our displays show that we can take a connected product from design to volume production and keep it running in the field. The accelerator lets energy teams start from proven building blocks instead of a blank page.
