Smart Atoms is a team of senior architects and engineers across hardware, firmware, embedded Linux, cloud and apps. Our core team has worked together since the company was founded in 2013, taking LaMetric products from the first prototype to volume production and a fleet scaling toward 100,000 devices.
Along the way we have established strong engineering processes, from architecture reviews to automated testing and staged releases. Clients get an established team that already knows how to work together.

Nazar Bilous
Entrepreneur, system architect and product builder with 18+ years in smart home, smart energy, IoT and embedded systems. As co-founder and CEO of LaMetric, he leads the company and its team, and took LaMetric TIME, SKY and Solar Glance from concept to a fleet scaling toward 100,000 devices, with end-to-end responsibility for hardware, embedded software, cloud, manufacturing and operations. Together with Dmytro and Igor, he decided to pass that experience on to OEMs and ISVs through Smart Atoms.
Dmytro Baryskyy
Co-founder of LaMetric, where he has led the software team behind every product, from embedded firmware and mobile apps to the cloud platform that runs the fleet. He built LaMetric's DevOps practice and engineering automation: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and the release process behind 250 over-the-air updates. At Smart Atoms he drives our AI-first engineering processes with strong engineering oversight and manages all software development for clients, reusing that proven automation so client projects start with production-grade pipelines from day one.
Igor Kishchak
Co-founder of LaMetric, leading hardware strategy and manufacturing from prototype to volume production in Asia and other locations, including LaMetric TIME at Foxconn. At Smart Atoms he manages all hardware development and manufacturing for clients, from design and certification to volume production, including with the client's own manufacturer. 12+ years in IoT, with expertise in hardware design, lean manufacturing, sourcing and global logistics.
